Family safari in Tanzania. 4 days/3 nights

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu

Pick up from your hotel after breakfast and drive 2.5 hours to Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is best known for its tree climbing lions, but you are more likely to encounter elephants, buffalo, primates and astounding bird life. You will have a lunch picnic and after take Tree Top Walk  to see wildlife from 18mt height. At 5 pm  you will leave the park and drive 40 minutes to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro – Karatu

After breakfast in the lodge you meet your guide and start descend into Ngorongoro crater for game drive. Enjoy the wonderful crater for several hours on the grassy crater floor,the Lerai Forest with its yellow-barked acacias, the banks of Lake Magadi and the surrounding marshes all alive with endangered black rhino, elephant, buffalo, zebra, lion hyenas and many more games. After lunch picnic you will be driven back to the lodge to have rest, dinner and overnight. Same lodge

Day 3: Karatu – Hadzabe and Datoga tribes – Kifaru Coffee plantation – Karatu

Breakfast and drive 1.5 hour to see unique tribes  – hadza and datoga. Hadaza (or hadzabe) – one of the last remaining ‘hunter and gathers’ tribe of Tanzania. You can for hunting (only for small wild animals) or go to pick honey together with hadza. After you meet with another unique tribe the Datoga, see how they make arrow heads, bracelets  and cook traditional food. Lunch picnic.
You will back to Karatu and visit Kifaru coffee farm (it is also possible to visit the farm on next day) to see how Tanzanian coffee growing and have unique opportunity to see all the process of washing, fermentation and roasting coffee beans. Thу coffee tour will be ended by coffee ceremony. Dinner in the lodge. Same lodge

Day 4: Karatu  – Arusha

Breakfast and check out from the lodge. Drive to Arusha 2.5 -3  hours with lunch boxes. On the way you will stop at masai village to see how live most famous tribe of Tanzania. Drop off Arusha hotel or airport or Kilimanjaro airport to catch the flight to Zanzibar, home or next destination.
