From Equator to Masai Mara, Family safari 5 days/4 nights

Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta

Pick up from the airport or you hotel and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy with stop at Equator Line. After arriving you will have the lunch and game drive in the private conservancy. Visit chipms and feeding Rhino Baraka. Dinner in the camp.

Accommodation: Serena Sweetwaters Camp

Day 2: Sweetwaters – Lake Naivasha

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Naivasha with stop at Thompson Waterfall for lunch and rest. Arriving to your lodge at lake Naivasha late afternoon and get 1  hour boat ride to see hippos and hundred species of birds. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha –  Maasai Mara

After breakfast leave Lake Naivasha for Maasai Mara, drive 5 hours. Arrival to Masai Mara and first game drive with lunch picnic.  Look out for Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo. Dinner in the camp/lodge

Accommodation: Neptune Mara Rianta Luxury Camp

Day 4: Maasai Mara

This day will be spent with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, there will be picnic lunch along the banks of Mara River.

Day 5: Maasai Mara –  Nairobi

Have breakfast at the lodge depart for Nairobi to arrive by lunch time. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Carnivore Restaurant for lunch. Afterwards drop off at airport for flight back home or hotel of your choice.

Alternatively, spend the afternoon visiting Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen or Kazuri Beads to buy souvenirs. All these are optional. Later, you can have dinner which is followed by a drop off at the airport for your flight back home or hotel of your choice.
