Mikumi
Overview
Situated just 300 kilometres away from the capital, Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth largest park and one of its most accessible national parks, composed of low-lying wetlands flanked by mountains on either side. A diverse menagerie of wildlife exists within the park’s 3230-square-kilometer area.
What to See
Lions, buffalo, buck, civet, crocodiles, snakes, lizards, hippos, zebras and even packs of wild dogs.
